Album Jacket

One of the finest female jazz vocal whom I love. She's got a tenderly charismatic voice that touches the souls of those who listen to her.

She's from Tokyo, born under Taiwanese mother and Japanese father. She enjoyed singing since she was young. According to Eishu, it was Aretha Franklin, the queen of soul, who influenced her style of singing.

'Colors' is her second album, released in November 2005, and it is beloved by many jazz lovers for her outstanding singing ability and amazing emotion expressions.
As you have already noticed, her album is made up of jazz remake versions of famous songs including John Lennon's (Just Like) Starting Over, Blondie's Call Me, Eagles' Desperado, David Bowie's Starman, Quincy Jones' If I ever Lose this Heaven, Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U, Marvin Gaye's I heard it thorugh the Grapevine, Judy Collin's Both sides, Now and Pretenders' Kid.
